Our Child Health and Development (CHAD) team recently facilitated NRCH’s first ever Lego group!
The CHAD team were thrilled to be able to offer this group for children aged 3-5 years old who would benefit from support with social skills, play skills, communication skills, and fine motor skills. The Lego group ran for five weeks and was facilitated by Speech Pathologist Livia Li and Occupational Therapist Leo Gnavi.
Each week incorporated a different theme—from the Very Hungry Caterpillar to celebrating AFL footy week. The Lego group was a huge success with positive feedback from families, and we’re looking forward to running it again next year!
