Community Empowerment and Development (CED) Program:

 

We codesign programs and activities with our local and diverse communities that seek to address the social determinants of health. We partner with other programs at NRCH, and local specialist organisations to achieve this.

 

Community Hub

The North Richmond Community Hub is a welcoming space for all.

At the Community Hub, we have:

  • Daily activities
  • Housing Support from Government Housing Officers
  • Employment and training support

Health and Wellbeing Nurse

  • Health checks and health discussions
  • Referral pathways to internal and external services e.g., GP, Counselling and Casework, Allied Health, Mental Health, Hospital, food security

 

Social Prescribing (5 Steps to Connection)

Evidence based pilot program that links people who are lonely, isolated or have a chronic disease to non-medical ‘prescriptions’ of activities to promote movement, engagement and a sense of belonging.
