There has been a catastrophic failure of public policy in relation to heroin related deaths. These tragic events affect not only the individuals and their families but the entire community. Our staff attend these events on an almost daily basis. These are traumatic events, especially for our community that witness the emergency and North Richmond Community Health health care workers trying to save lives.

Today, 1 December, is World AIDS today. It’s a day to commemorate those who have lost their lives to AIDS, to spread awareness of HIV/AIDS and support those living with HIV/AIDS.
This year, the theme is HIV is still here – and it’s on the move. There is always more to be done to help those living with HIV and AIDS, including raising awareness and combating stigma.
