Next week is World Immunisation Week (24 – 30 April)! This week is an opportunity to remind ourselves about the importance of vaccination and ensure our community continue to stay protected against the wide variety of vaccine-preventable diseases.
The World Health Organisation’s theme for this year is “The Big Catch-up”, a critical reminder to everyone in our community to keep vaccinating and make sure those in our community from migrant and refugee backgrounds get any vaccinations they may have missed out on before arriving in Australia.
To show our support for this campaign, we will be holding an event on Thursday 27 April to provide people with an opportunity to learn more about vaccinations at North Richmond Community Health.
