Victorian Health Promotion Awards Building Back Better Trophy

A testimony to the incredible collaboration with our resilient local community and all our partners

Earlier this year, North Richmond Community Health’s High Risk Accommodation Response Team (HRAR) won the 2021 Victorian Health Promotion Award in the Building Back Better category.

The award recognised our work which empowered residents in the local high rise public housing estates to develop employment and leadership skills, as well as build trust, positivity and collaboration with community while dealing with the coronavirus pandemic . It is testimony to the incredible collaboration with our resilient local community and all of our partners.

Today, VicHealth visited NRCH to officially present the trophy and certificate to our team. We were incredibly proud to receive the award in person and it was great to meet members of the VicHealth team.

We want to thank everyone who was involved in this important work and for their support over the last two years of the HRAR program.
