Each year, our Oral Health Team hosts the University of Melbourne, Bachelor of Oral Health Students for their final year of unpaid professional placement at North Richmond Community Health (NRCH).

The students will be participating in our weekly outreach programs Pearly Whites (aged care dental program) and Chompers (school dental program) to learn about our model of care, and providing dental treatment under supervision.

Learning is one of our 7 organisational values that guide our work. The placement provides our future health workers with the opportunity to apply theoretical and other knowledge in a practical setting. It’s an invaluable opportunity to learn about organisational culture, applied skills, and working relationships.
