Celebrate Cultural Diversity Week with us at NRCH

Today is the start of Cultural Diversity Week which runs from 18 – 24 March. This annual celebration brings together our diverse multicultural community. This year’s theme; Our Shared Stories – Celebrating Together, invites everyone to share their unique experiences and discover the connections that unite us all.

With over 70% of North Richmond estate residents coming from multicultural communities, multiculturalism is a key part of the identity of our local community. Diversity is a core value of North Richmond Community Health and we encourage everyone from our multicultural community to contribute and feel a sense of inclusion. We also embrace equitable access to healthcare that is culturally relevant and easily accessible to our community.

This year, because Cultural Diversity Week coincides with Ramadan, we have decided to delay our event until the second week of the April school holidays to ensure everyone in the community can enjoy the celebrations.
