Smart Eating with The Richmond Seniors Club

After a successful first year, we welcome back The Richmond Seniors Club for the first session of 2020.

The Richmond Seniors Club is held once a month and provides a means for senior community members to get together and socialise, build new friendships while also learning about health and wellbeing and other important topics. For every session, we invite guest speakers to provide health and community information, activities and entertainment.

To start us off this year, we had our Dietitian Warwick Fenner talk to our seniors about ‘Smart Eating’ and how to keep your body healthy and strong. Smart Eating means eating a wide variety of foods each day, but also knowing how to prepare and plan when it comes to supermarket shopping.

“Eating well is key to feeling your best, both now and in the long term.”
