Appointments
All doctors are available for 15 minute appointments. If you require extra time please let us know to book a longer appointment.
For your convenience, we will ring or send you an SMS message from our “Hotdoc” system to remind you of your appointment.
Doctors can be contacted by phone in an emergency; otherwise we will ask you to leave a message and the doctor will return your call when they are able. All appointments are bulk billed. This means they are free of charge if you have a Medicare card.
Interpreters
Telephone and on-site interpreters can be arranged in any language at no cost to you.
Cancellations
A fee of $20 will be charged if you do not attend your appointment without giving our staff at least 24 hours notice.
Emergencies
A seriously-ill patient or someone who arrives with an injury will been given priority access to a doctor over other patients.
After Hours
Our practice provides 24-hour care through our after-hours locum service. If you need medical care after hours, please contact 13 74 25 or visit the nearest hospital emergency department. Your doctor will be notified of your use of the locum service.
Home Visits
Home visits may be available for some patients on occasions where, after discussion with their GP, it is not possible for them to visit the practice. Where a home visit is neither safe nor reasonable, alternative arrangements for care will be discussed.
Fees and Billing Arrangements
Our medical services are bulk-billed*. Please bring your Medicare Card with you each time you visit us. If you do not bring your Medicare Card, you may be asked to pay at the time of the consultation, but you will be able to get reimbursed by taking your receipt to Medicare
*Some medical procedures require an out-of-pocket expense
Workcover
Please tell us if your visit is being paid for by Work Cover, or your medical issue is related to your work.
Referrals and medical certificates
Please make an appointment with one of our GPs if you need a medical certificate or referral.
