Construction works by Homes Victoria are well underway to upgrade hundreds of high-rise apartments in North Richmond, as well as to improve the estate’s communal spaces with new recreation facilities such as playgrounds, outdoor gyms and barbeques.
Last week, local residents, Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, Belgium Avenue Neighbourhood Houses, Yarra City Council, and NRCH staff joined in on a walking tour of these works. This was also an opportunity for NRCH to speak to the community about the revitalisation and amenity works that will soon start at the front of our centre.
The walking tour finished up at the front of NRCH with a community BBQ to celebrate these exciting new changes.
