Following a large number of Victorian lives lost to drug-related overdoses, the Victorian Government made the decision to trial a medically supervised injecting room (MSIR) at North Richmond Community Health.
The medically supervised injecting room is open for tour and information sessions for those who wish to learn more about the trial and how the facility operates.

For those who wish to learn more about the trial and how a medically supervised injecting room operates, the facility will be open for public tours.

About the sessions
- Each session is led by medically supervised injecting room staff members.
- Sessions are free.
- You must register to attend.
- Tours are restricted to persons aged 18 years or over.
- Sessions run for 45 minutes
- No recording (photos, video or audio) is permitted on MSIR tours
- Attendees cannot use any information gained from their MSIR tour for any publication without prior approval.
Elected representatives tours:
Dedicated tours can be arranged for federal and state members of parliament, local councillors, and relevant staff. Please contact msir@nrch.com.au to enquire about elected representative tours.
