NRCH deliver oral healthcare in Robinvale

North Richmond Community Health has been working in partnership with Murray Valley Aboriginal Cooperative (MVAC) for more than 15 years to provide oral health services to the Robinvale community. Two weeks ago, our oral health team made their third visit of the year to Robinvale.

The children of Robinvale Pre-School and Murray Valley Aboriginal Co-op Early Learning Centre received dental check-ups and oral health and nutrition education. While our Chompers team was out visiting children, our dentist Dr. Jessica was also treating clients at the MVAC clinic.

During their visit, our oral health team was invited to attend Cultural Awareness Training. The majority of MVAC employees that attended the training were of Aboriginal descent. Our staff were privileged to hear real life experiences and the effects on families both past and present.

Our oral health team tries as best as they can to see as many clients as possible in the short time that they are there each visit. The Robinvale community commends our oral health team for their contribution.

We are very fortunate to have formed such a strong relationship with the Robinvale community and look forward to our next visit in June this year.
