Richmond Seniors Club

Get to know one another and have fun while learning about health and other important topics.

When: Every third Wednesday starting from 29th of May 2019

Health, Not Diets Group

Look after your health by changing the way you eat.

Exercises and information sessions to help reduce the risk of falls.

Smart Shopping and Cooking Skills Group

Look after your health and wellbeing by attending the Healthy Aging Hub’s Shopping and cooking group. Get skills and confidence in the kitchen, and at the supermarket.

When: Mondays (3-week program)
Time: 12pm to 2:00pm
Location: Salvation Army, 22 Lennox Street Richmond 3121
Cost: FREE

You can attend this group if you:

  • aged 65 years & over
  • aged 50 years & over and identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • aged 50 years & over and are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Tai Chi and QiGong Group

Improve muscle strength and endurance by joining our Tai Chi group.

When: Thursdays (15-week program)
Time: 10:00am to 12:00pm
Location: Salvation Army Building, 22 Lennox St Richmond VIC 3121
Cost: Gold coin donation

You can attend this group if you are:

  • aged 65+
  • able to walk independently, either with or without a walking aid
  • medically stable and have no serious heart or lung issues
  • committed to attending each week.

Child Health and Development Play Groups

Our play groups are for children aged two to four. We can help you support and coach your child as they encounter new experiences and challenges.

Your child can get help and support with their school homework each Thursday night during the school term.
