How to book your vaccine appointment at the NRCH Flu Clinic:


Free flu vaccines are available for:

  • Children aged 6 months to under 5 years
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months and older
  • Adults aged 65 years and older
  • Pregnant women (at any stage of pregnancy)
  • People with medical conditions, that increase the risk of severe flu, including:
      • Cardiac disease: Heart problems.
      • Chronic respiratory condition: Long-term lung or breathing problems (like asthma).
      • Immunocompromising condition: A weak immune system.
      • Haematological disorder: Blood disorders.
      • Chronic metabolic disorder: Conditions that affect how the body makes energy (like diabetes).
      • Chronic kidney disease: Long-term kidney problems.
      • Chronic neurological condition: Brain or nerve problems.
      • Long-term aspirin therapy: Taking aspirin every day (for kids aged 5 to 10).
